Russia Unveils New Military Mega-Church

In Photos: Russia Unveils New Military Mega-Church

Russia is close to completing the construction of a new Russian Orthodox cathedral dedicated to the country’s Armed Forces.

The 95-meter cathedral, located on a sprawling military theme park and exhibition center near Moscow, is set to open its doors on May 9 to mark the 75th anniversary of the Soviet victory over Nazi Germany in World War II.

The cathedral drew widespread attention over the weekend when photos of its interior showed mosaics of President Vladimir Putin, Soviet leader Josef Stalin and the annexation of Crimea from Ukraine adorning the walls.

Here's a look at the rest of the Armed Forces' new mega-cathedral — both inside and out:

A bird's-eye view of the army-green structure. The cathedral's six golden domes are dedicated to the patron saints of each branch of the Armed Forces.

The images of military-related patron saints and other religious figures are also depicted on the cathedral walls.

According to the foundation which oversees donations to the Armed Forces cathedral, the public has donated more than 3.6 billion rubles ($41 million) toward its construction.

“A school for military priests is being built and the institute of Sisters of Charity [nurses] will be revived at the main church of the Russian Armed Forces,” the foundation's head said in 2018.

The cathedral's baptismal font is illuminated in green hues.

The cathedral's giant doors feature the engraved images of two saints.

In addition to these stained-glass windows, artisans have crafted a new Orthodox icon for the cathedral. Funding for the icon came from a personal donation by President Vladimir Putin.

The church’s parameters, including the height and width of its domes, will reflect key dates of World War II and the structure will feature multimedia stands dedicated to the 33 million Soviet soldiers who fought in the war.

Once completed, the 95-meter cathedral will be one of the tallest Orthodox churches in the world.

Couple Abducted from Wedding in Attacks in Northwest Nigeria that Kill 12 Christians

JOSNigeria, April 29, 2020

Fulani herdsmen in northwest Nigeria killed 12 Christians and kidnapped a couple from their church wedding ceremony in attacks this month, sources said.

In Tegina Kabata village in Niger state’s Shiroro County, herdsmen attacked a church site where a wedding was taking place on April 12, abducting the couple and some church members, area resident Danjuma Iliya told Morning Star News.

“As the pastor was officiating during the wedding solemnization, the herdsmen stormed the church and took away everyone who was unable to escape from the church building, including the bride and groom,” Iliya said. “In that village, five Christians were killed in the series of attacks carried out by the herdsmen.”

Two other Christians were killed by herdsmen in Niger state’s Gidigori village, Kusherki District, in Rafi County, on April 20, area resident James Ayuba said. They were two of seven Christians killed in three herdsmen attacks over five days in Rafi County, he said.

Others were injured in herdsmen attacks in the county’s Madaka and Sabon Gari villages on April 20-21, he said.

Church of Nigeria donates medical consumables to FG, food items to rural churches

As part of palliative measures to cushion the effect of the lockdown on members and clergy residing in the rural areas, the Primate of the Church of Nigeria, Anglican Communion, Most Rev. Henry C. Ndukuba has visited the churches in the rural areas, where he donated food items to them.

The Archbishop, who was accompanied by some of the Priests in the Diocese of Abuja visited parishes/deaneries in Gude, Kabusa, Kobi, Kpaduma, Katampe, Galuwyi, Guzape, Hulumi, Paipe, Dape, Guyidna, Zango, and Mpape and gave them bags of rice, beans, garri, guinea corn, maize, and tubers of yam.

Speaking shortly after the visit, the Primate described the visit as an opportunity to encourage members in those areas, pray with them, as well as share the love of Christ, not only with words, but also with food items. He said persons living in those areas would always remember the visit for good and feel encouraged that they had brethren who cared about their spiritual wellbeing, as well as their physical needs.

The clergymen serving in the areas described the church’s kind gesture as a demonstration of Christ’s love. They said many in the areas had looked forward to the Church in these trying times, to offer succour to the needy; and the fulfilment of this expectation was indeed a thing of joy.

A clergyman noted that the people were highly elated and thanked the church for coming to their aid at such a period like this. Another clergyman expressed joy that the Primate’s interaction with them, the word of God he shared with them and prayer, really encouraged them.

The Primate, who is also the Bishop of Abuja, had earlier directed Churches in the urban parts of the Diocese to store different food items to assist and cater for the needs of indigent parish members during the lockdown. He also urged the Anglican dioceses in Nigeria to endeavour to reach out to the needy with the love of Christ.

In addition to the palliatives provided by the Church across the nation, Ndukuba, last Monday, led a delegation of some bishops, clergy and laity to the Secretary of the Government of the Federation and Chairman of the Presidential Task Force on COVID-19, Boss Mustapha, on behalf of the Church, donated medical consumables worth ₦10m to support government in the fight against COVID-19 pandemic.

The Primate said the donation to identify with the health workers, who risk their lives daily at the frontline of the battle against the pandemic. He also used the opportunity to condole with the President and family of the late Chief of Staff to the President, Abba Kyari, who died of the COVID-19 complications few days earlier.

Church in Lagos lifts 100 residents

The Surulere District headquarters of Cherubim and Seraphim (C&S) has donated palliatives to 100 residents of Onisemo Street in its neighbourhood in Coker Aguda Local Council Development Area (LCDA), Lagos State.
Apostle Olayinka Balogun, who represented the District Chairman/General Leader, Special Apostle (Prophet) Sunday Korede, said the church embarked on the programme in obedience to the teaching of Jesus Christ who said those who show mercy shall be blessed.
According to him, the church should not watch while the people were hungry following the stay-at-home order.
The Administrative Secretary, Mrs. Taiwo A. Taiwo, said the church did not give out money as some corporate organisations and individuals were doing because beneficiaries would go to the market to buy food and ‘this would discourage social distancing, a habit the government has banned’.
She said this was the church’s first Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) project for the year, adding that more would come. She recalled that the church last year held a three-day medical outreach in partnership with Rotary International District 9110’s Health Family programme, where over 1,000 residents benefited.
Two beneficiaries – Mrs. Philomina Odili and Ernest Ilodanye – expressed satisfaction with the donations. They thanked God and the church for the products, saying it should keep doing good.

Police speaks on Mubarak Bala’s arrest for blasphemy

The Kaduna State Police Command on Wednesday confirmed the arrest of Mubarak Bala.

Spokesman to Kaduna State police Mohammed Jalige in a phone conversation with our correspondent said, “I can confirm to you that he has been arrested and he is in police custody.”

“I cannot tell you about where he is (whether Kaduna or Kano State custody) but he has been arrested.”

Bala, the president of the Humanist Association of Nigeria, was arrested by the police on Wednesday afternoon at his residence in Kaduna State, Jalige disclosed.

Although Jalige did not speak about the reason of the arrest, it is not unconnected to Bala’s recent outburst against Islamic Prophet Muhammad (SAW) in a Facebook post.

On Monday, April 27, Mubarak compared popular Lagos pastor and president of Synagogue Church of Nations Prophet TB Joshua to Prophet Mohammed.

“There’s no difference between prophet TB Joshua (S.A.W) of Lagos and Muhammadu (A.S.) of Saudi Arabia, it is better for our Nigeria to be terrorism,” Bala said.

In another post, Bala said, “Whoever believes religion has been duped – If you cant take blasphemy against Islam, criticizism of its doctrines, this page is not for you. I have not even started ooo.”

His post was greeted with threats of arrest for blasphemy in the comment section. Unrepentant of his stance against Islam, Bala said the threat was from ‘morons’ who should know better.

Days later, a group of lawyers petitioned the Kano State Police command to prosecute Bala for insulting Prophet Muhammad.

Bala is not new to issues around blasphemy by government and private citizens. In June 2014, he was held at the Aminu Kano Teaching Hospital by government officials who claimed he was a psychiatric patient against his wish.

In a post on International Humanist and Ethical Union (IHEU) website said he was detained at the hospital on the grounds of a “personality change” because he had become an atheist despite being raised in a Muslim family.

Gift of Faults

Gift of Faults.
Seemingly contracting is the Topic, and I guess you're already wondering how a fault can be a Gift. something generally tagged as bad how can it be a Gift?
From the very beginning it is stated
God created the heaven and the earth.
And the earth was without form, and void; and darkness was upon the face of the deep. before God could call out light and it was. it would be safe then to say the light was created for darkness and if not for darkness light would have no meaning.
Another aspect of this is when there's gross darkness the slightest glimpse of light is much appreciated and that's where the popular saying was coined from (The darker the clouds the brighter the stars)
It is a dark room that needs light, I would be tagged mad and bundled to the hospital if I begin moving with flash lights on during broad daylight.
I went through this rigour to enable us understand just as light exist for darkness so also Grace exist for Faults/weakness.
2 Corinthians  12:7 And lest I should be exalted above measure through the abundance of the revelations, there was given to me a thorn in the flesh, the messenger of Satan to buffet me, lest I should be exalted above measure.  12:8 For this thing I besought the Lord thrice, that it might depart from me.  12:9 And he said unto me, My grace is sufficient for thee: for my strength is made perfect in weakness. Most gladly therefore will I rather glory in my infirmities, that the power of Christ may rest upon me.

What qualify faults as gifts
like every other gift your faults can only profit you if you accept them.
Not accepting or acknowledging your faults or weaknesses is saying you're OK with it and that way you can never find Grace. eventually that weakness will be your undoing.
The error is not that you're weak
but while you're weak how sincere are you to God and yourself
do you acknowledge that you're weak and cry for help or are you enjoying the temporal Comfort weakness brings.
Do fall and strive under God to rise
or do you stay at that fallen state and say "that's just how I am" "it's my nature"
perhaps yours is the inability to engage in spiritual exercise
do you seek the Holy Spirits intervention or do you idle way your productive years.
I remember when I gave my life to Christ initially I had serious problems fasting cause I liked food and that kept eating away my years of productivity there were these cookies my boss brings to my working place and I felt I couldn't miss that cookie for anything even my fast were countlessly cut short cause of cookies until one day I told myself the truth that I was weak and need Swift aid then I found Grace to fast days without food as it is now
So many keep leaving defensive Christian lives not knowing where the actual problem is because they fail to understand Faults are not tackled because they are found they are tackled when revealed.
IN the territories of babyhood I actually thought God calls us because of what we can do later I got to discover God actually called us because of that which we cannot do so He'll do it through us.
God cannot use a Man strong in himself.
fortunate are you who are weak for then you qualify for God's strength if your cry is directed towards God.
Our diverse faults gives God leverage to a broad spectrum where He supplies us Grace for His glory.
(Solomon was a mighty good counselor because of experience through Faults.
David His father showed us it's possible for a man to fall but even more possible it is for a man to rise, Peter showed us same too)
Faults are also gifts cause of their uniqueness.
everyone strengthening breathren from where he/she has found Grace
now that is a mighty strong Church👆
Let me conclude by saying God loves the condition of a weary soul if only that soul acknowledges It's weariness and channels it's cry to God.

Coronavirus: Nigeria's mega churches adjust to empty auditoriums

The auditoriums of Nigeria's mega churches are empty and their gates are shut as they are forced to observe a government ban on large gatherings to halt the spread of coronavirus.
But it took not only threats, but force and arrests for the message to get across.
In some cases those in charge of making the churches bolt their doors turned to the scriptures.
"May I use the words of [Prophet] Mordechai: 'For such as time as this we do what is appropriate,'" said the leader of an enforcing team in the capital, Abuja, as he arrested a pastor in front of his congregation.
Dressed all in black, had he had a collar he would have passed for a preacher with his baritone voice and gesticulations.
The pastor he led out of the church, sporting a burgundy-coloured suit, shiny black shoes and with hair that glowed in the sun, looked like many of those who now lead huge congregations in the West African nation.
These preachers have changed the face of Christianity in Nigeria - with their evangelical sermons, prophecies and promises of miracles.
Conspiracy theories
One of the most famous of these is TB Joshua, who last month claimed to be divinely inspired, predicting that the coronavirus pandemic would be over by 27 March, several days before a lockdown was imposed on the states of Lagos, Ogun and the capital, Abuja.
"By the end of this month, whether we like it or not, no matter the medicine they might have produced to cure whatever, it will go the way it came," he said to applause from his congregation.
When 27 March passed the TV evangelist found himself mocked for his "false prophesy".
But he defended himself - once again to cheers from worshippers - by saying: "What I meant was that the virus would be halted where it began, and in Wuhan it has stopped."
Other pastors have been accused of flying in the face of the authorities and spreading fake news, impeding efforts to stop the spread of coronavirus.
The biggest controversy has been caused by Christ Embassy pastor Chris Oyakhilome, who in a video post that went viral, linked the virus to 5G networks and alleged that it was part of a plot to create a "new world order".
Such views have been widely condemned by scientists , who say the idea of a connection between Covid-19 and 5G is "complete rubbish" and biologically impossible.
Online prayer services
For some Christians, especially those who belong to the dwindling pews of the Anglican and Catholic churches, more needs to be done to weaken the influence of the mega pastors who exploit vulnerable people.
"Those that sell us the miracle waters, the holy oils and all that, this is the time to prove it," said Blessing Ugonna, a woman I met in Lagos.
But many of the mega churches, which run multi-million dollar business empires, have adapted to the changes brought about by the virus.
They are streaming prayer services online, and some families are trying to create an atmosphere at home by dressing up in their Sunday outfits with the head of the household even collecting "offerings" - or money - from the rest of the family to give to their church.
The churches are also making donations to the government and financially stricken worshippers.

The SAME CAME (cont.)

"Are you the one to come or should we wait for another??" For Jesus He was the one to come, what would your own case be??
Would your generation have to wait another??

The Same Came
Psalms  40:6 Sacrifice and offering thou didst not desire; mine ears hast thou opened: burnt offering and sin offering hast thou not required.  40:7 Then said I, Lo, I come: in the volume of the book it is written of me,  40:8 I delight to do thy will, O my God: yea, thy law is within my heart.

There is that which is written concerning everyone in the archives of Heaven.
Just as stated in PSALMS 40 we must live in accordance to what is written concerning us for our lives to strike any cord in the realm that matters.
In this life you'll get to discover that there are so many things concerning yourself that you didn't have the luxury of choosing e.g where you are born, The family you are born into, state of origin, tribe and so many other foundational things in your life... All these things and more were decided by an act of God's sovereign will.
Before you were formed your whole scope of existence is captured in God's, How you are to live, what you are to become, in short the entire blueprint of your life is in His hands.
This blueprint was designed by God based on that which He has deposited in you (your make up) it is also on this note that He decided all those foundational things in your life.
He knows you better and had deposited all that is essential for your rising that's why He placed you where you, with the people you are with not because He hates you but because that is the place designated for your rising no other place would do.
Although God has the monopoly of wisdom and strength over you including the blueprint of your life He yet still won't enforce anything against your will so it's up to you to go to Him and find your bearings for life in and through Him.
Note that although these things are writing concerning you,
Although it is prophesied that you'll rise and be great (that's God's mind for everyone)
so many live and die without even touching 1% of what has been written concerning them.
For prophecy is a promised destination with guidelines to reaching but it is no guarantee of a safe landing.

Living the volume written concerning you
1 Corinthians  2:10 But God hath revealed them unto us by his Spirit: for the Spirit searcheth all things, yea, the deep things of God.  2:11 For what man knoweth the things of a man, save the spirit of man which is in him? even so the things of God knoweth no man, but the Spirit of God.
in living according to the volumes written concerning you, you must :-
1. Be born again.
2. Engage and exploit the Spirit's potential in you.
3. Follow the Holy Spirit's leadings always.
4. Grow by dwelling in Grace (Ephesians 4:11)
5. Die to self.

To mention but few
Follow through thou and be the one God says you'll be.

Building Spirit & Building Power

Continuation....

BUILDING SPIRIT
To build your physical body you need to eat food from the ground for our Bodies are formed from the ground, while to build your Spirit you need to eat spiritual food (bread) which is the word of God for the Bible say "Man shall not live by bread alone but by every word that proceeds out of the mouth of God".
Jesus admonished us that He is the way the TRUTH and the life.... The words of God are also the words of Truth.
The Word I speak of is not just the written letters (for the letters killeth) the letters are just one way God's truths are communicated and same way one can read the letters but not contact the word.
There's a difference between true and Truth
( e.g It is true that to cross a sea you may need to cross by a bridge or you sail across. But truth is that which can reveal other means to you like parting the sea and walking on dry ground or even walking on dry ground because truth is God and is captured in Him.)
Truth comes when God is revealed to you.

BUILDING POWER (Acts 1:8)
1KJV:The former treatise have I made, O Theophilus, of all that Jesus began both to do and teach,
2KJV:Until the day in which he was taken up, after that he through the Holy Ghost had given commandments unto the apostles whom he had chosen:
3KJV:To whom also he shewed himself alive after his passion by many infallible proofs, being seen of them forty days, and speaking of the things pertaining to the kingdom of God:
4KJV:And, being assembled together with them, commanded them that they should not depart from Jerusalem, but wait for the promise of the Father, which, saith he, ye have heard of me.
5KJV:For John truly baptized with water; but ye shall be baptized with the Holy Ghost not many days hence.
6KJV:When they therefore were come together, they asked of him, saying, Lord, wilt thou at this time restore again the kingdom to Israel?
7KJV:And he said unto them, It is not for you to know the times or the seasons, which the Father hath put in his own power.
8KJV:But ye shall receive power, after that the Holy Ghost is come upon you: and ye shall be witnesses unto me both in Jerusalem, and in all Judaea, and in Samaria, and unto the uttermost part of the earth.

Jesus promised His disciples power while He was leaving in verse 4 :And, being assembled together with them, commanded them that they should not depart from Jerusalem, but wait for the promise of the Father, which, saith he, ye have heard of me.
Jesus instructed them to tarry in Jerusalem until they receive the promise of the father which is power. (verse 8)
Note that prior to this time they've already received the Holy Spirit what they then need is Him (The Holy Spirit) coming upon them and filling them for them to exploit His Dimensions of Power
also note that when the Holy Spirit came upon them He didn't give them power directly He  gave them Tongues as a prayer language which if utilized eventually generated power.
the progression=>
1. Holy Spirit indwelling
2. Infilling(Baptism) with evidence of speaking in tongues (Prayer language)
3. Power
The Holy Spirit is the power but that power is only a potential in you and if it remains a potential in you it is of no use and can even amount to an affliction. But if you must make that power kinetic, use able you must engage it by praying.

The Same Came

THE SAME CAME
BUILDING SPIRIT - BUILDING POWER
2Timothy 3:1-17
1.KJV:This know also, that in the last days perilous times shall come.
NIV:But mark this: There will be terrible times in the last days.
2. KJV:For men shall be lovers of their own selves, covetous, boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy,
NIV:People will be lovers of themselves, lovers of money, boastful, proud, abusive, disobedient to their parents, ungrateful, unholy,
3. KJV:Without natural affection, trucebreakers, false accusers, incontinent, fierce, despisers of those that are good,
NIV:without love, unforgiving, slanderous, without self-control, brutal, not lovers of the good,
4. KJV:Traitors, heady, highminded, lovers of pleasures more than lovers of God;
NIV:treacherous, rash, conceited, lovers of pleasure rather than lovers of God—
5. KJV:Having a form of godliness, but denying the power thereof: from such turn away.
NIV:having a form of godliness but denying its power. Have nothing to do with such people.
6. KJV:For of this sort are they which creep into houses, and lead captive silly women laden with sins, led away with divers lusts,
NIV:They are the kind who worm their way into homes and gain control over gullible women, who are loaded down with sins and are swayed by all kinds of evil desires,
7. KJV:Ever learning, and never able to come to the knowledge of the truth.
NIV:always learning but never able to come to a knowledge of the truth.
8. KJV:Now as Jannes and Jambres withstood Moses, so do these also resist the truth: men of corrupt minds, reprobate concerning the faith.
NIV:Just as Jannes and Jambres opposed Moses, so also these teachers oppose the truth. They are men of depraved minds, who, as far as the faith is concerned, are rejected.
9. KJV:But they shall proceed no further: for their folly shall be manifest unto all men, as their's also was.
NIV:But they will not get very far because, as in the case of those men, their folly will be clear to everyone.
10. KJV:But thou hast fully known my doctrine, manner of life, purpose, faith, longsuffering, charity, patience,
NIV:You, however, know all about my teaching, my way of life, my purpose, faith, patience, love, endurance,
11. KJV:Persecutions, afflictions, which came unto me at Antioch, at Iconium, at Lystra; what persecutions I endured: but out of them all the Lord delivered me.
NIV:persecutions, sufferings—what kinds of things happened to me in Antioch, Iconium and Lystra, the persecutions I endured. Yet the Lord rescued me from all of them.
12. KJV:Yea, and all that will live godly in Christ Jesus shall suffer persecution.
NIV:In fact, everyone who wants to live a godly life in Christ Jesus will be persecuted,
13. KJV:But evil men and seducers shall wax worse and worse, deceiving, and being deceived.
NIV:while evildoers and impostors will go from bad to worse, deceiving and being deceived.
14. KJV:But continue thou in the things which thou hast learned and hast been assured of, knowing of whom thou hast learned them;
NIV:But as for you, continue in what you have learned and have become convinced of, because you know those from whom you learned it,
15. KJV:And that from a child thou hast known the holy scriptures, which are able to make thee wise unto salvation through faith which is in Christ Jesus.
NIV:and how from infancy you have known the Holy Scriptures, which are able to make you wise for salvation through faith in Christ Jesus.
16. KJV:All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness:
NIV:All Scripture is God-breathed and is useful for teaching, rebuking, correcting and training in righteousness,
17. KJV:That the man of God may be perfect, thoroughly furnished unto all good works.
NIV:so that the servant of God may be thoroughly equipped for every good work.

Emphasis on vs 5
KJV:Having a form of godliness, but denying the power thereof: from such turn away.
There's a peculiarity in this verse of Scripture cause the verse highlights the error of the people here, the major error here outweighs the various sinful practice of the people it is now centered on the fact that the have godliness as a form but deny the power thereof indicating that accessing and utilizing this power is sole their responsibility for they deny it.
The Form of godliness here is a likeness that is guaranteed by the presence of a Spirit.
as in
Luke  1:17 And he shall go before him in the spirit and power of Elias, to turn the hearts of the fathers to the children, and the disobedient to the wisdom of the just; to make ready a people prepared for the Lord.
and
Luke  9:55 But he turned, and rebuked them, and said, Ye know not what manner of spirit ye are of.

The Spirit in both scripts bring about forms in the individuals mentioned.
The great defect this verse is highlighting is the fact that One can have the Spirit (form) of Godliness with the power that brings about results.
Another can then have the power that brings results but no form of Godliness.
The imbalance in the manifestation of these two (form & power) is the major reason for the limitations, erroneous teachings and practices in the BODY of Christ today.
Many professing Jesus as Lord but very few possess both the Spirit and Power His life finished for.
Acts 2:42-43.
The Degree of yielding to the Spirit in every believers life should always tally the degree of power that believer wields.
A person lacking one of the two can only be a liability to God one who creates problems rather than solve them.
e.g The Pharisees who go a long way to get a convert but end up making him twice the son of hell as they themselves are. 1cor. 2:4.

to be continued....
questions are entertained if any.

Faith × Law

                          Faith vs Law
Faith is the substance of things hope for the evidence of things not seen. (Heb.11:1)
Law is an established or permanent rule, prescribed by the supreme power of a state to it's subjects, for regulating their actions, particularly their social actions.

Romans 3:28-31
3:28  Therefore we conclude that a man is justified by faith without the deeds of the law.
3:29 Is he the God of the Jews only? is he not also of the Gentiles? Yes, of the Gentiles also:
3:30 Seeing it is one God, which shall justify the circumcision by faith, and uncircumcision through faith.
3:31 Do we then make void the law through faith? God forbid: yea, we establish the law.
The Bible tells us our righteousness is but filth before God, our attempts towards keeping the laws only reveal to us even more how helpless we are towards being right by the law.
Jesus the Author and the finisher of our faith(Heb.12:2) wrote our faith by living it out. He was brought before the law yet found blameless and on the strength of that we being in Him (col.3:3) will be clothed in His righteousness for only Him fulfilled the claims of Devine Justice.
On account of these many believers abolished the law claiming sanctuary in faith which of a Truth is more than enough if guided by the spirit, these "believers " go about living a lawless life forgetting that faith (believing) is not a one day affair but a daily way of life by the Spirit that was deposited in you the moment you believed, the Spirit constrains your life bringing your life in conformity with that of Christ, now Christ Jesus in body form said He has not come to destroy the law but to fulfill it which He did (Matthew 5:17-18)
meaning the law has it's place in Christianity although what is law can only be revealed by the Spirit like Paul said "The letter killeth but the Spirit giveth life".
 Romans  3:31
Do we then make void the law through faith?
God forbid
rather by faith we establish the law.

WANDERLAND

                         Wanderland
A depth in the mind where one wanders off into, almost confused, sapping time and mental space yielding nothing or worst intoxicating one's mind with inclinations of the fallen nature.

Jeremiah  6:16  Thus saith the LORD, Stand ye in the ways, and see, and ask for the old paths, where is the good way, and walk therein, and ye shall find rest for your souls. But they said, We will not walk therein.

Some have tried over and over again to have their minds zeroed in on God but instead their minds wander away a little into their attempts. I.E when one wants to pray that's when you remember that guy that offended u.
When you're to study you Suddenly remember the secret ingredient to that wonderful cake.

See the moment a situation posses itself that captivates your mind (BTW situations like that will present themselves as long as we are still mortals) just know that at that moment the bus to Wanderland has stopped by you it's then up to you to decide whether or not you're taking the trip down Wanderland.

Effects of Wandering into Wanderland

1. Diminishes your ability to meditate.
We use our mind in mediation (see Wanderland and mediation) thus if the mind be touring Wanderland none of it will be left to meditate with.

2. Takes up valuable time (for prayers , study etc.) One will just notice a severe lack of concentration with one's mind Wandering to all manner of things during prayer or any other thing.

3. Strengthens flesh.
The mind aids/adds strength to whichever direction it is exercised in, having that venturing into Wanderland is unchecked by the Spirit it will naturally aid/strengthen the flesh.

4. Disrupts revelations
Revelations are received by our Spirits and comprehended at mind level, in a corrupt mind hijacking or contaminating such revelations won't be a problem to Satan.

5. Creates more platforms for dominance of sin nature.
What a man thinks thus He becomes.
Pondering over sinful thoughts gives sin more ground to flood you.

Why People stumble into Wanderland?
1. Fear/Anxiety
2. Anger/hurt/pain
3. Lust

Wanderland & Mediation
Mediation is calming hour mind to asses a particular spiritual or religious matter.
Christian Mediation is simply accessing the spiritual realm with your mind having the Holy Spirit as a guide.
Mediation is not necessarily a Christian terminology for many religions practice meditation.
The difference is we have Him who designed the realm as our guide.

While in Wanderland your mind is boss of all three (spirit, soul and body) and it wanders as it pleases especially to what it's been fed with most often.

Key to staying off Wanderland
