LIKE MIND YOUTH FOR CHRIST DOLES OUT FACE MASKS, FOOD ITEMS TO RESIDENTS OF KAKURI area Kaduna
Group under the auspices of like mind youth for christ doles out face masks and food items to residents of kurmin Gwari and kakuri Hausa communities of Kaduna south local government area,Kaduna state
Distributing the items to the beneficiaries, coverner of the event Benjamin Abraham Said the donation becomes necessary considering the hardship many are passing through under the covid-19 pandemic lockdown
According to him, the beneficiaries were selected from among the less privileged, the poor and the aged.
“It is not that we have enough, but we believe this is the time we need to extend hands of love to others.Benjamin said
” there is hunger in the land and many could not fetched for their self as usual due to the virus that has taken over all aspect of life” He added
Mr Benjamin further applauded the member representing Jaba constituency in the Kaduna State House of Assembly Hon. Monday Dikko for supporting the project, describing him as a leader with fucus who always wants to see the progress of the youth and the general community
Some of the Beneficiaries from the two communities Mrs. Rose Joseph of Kurmin Gwari and Mallam Mohammed Isa Kakuri of Kakuri Hausa commended the group for the gesture, while calling on other well meaning individuals to do same in communities to cushion the hardship at this time.
The leader of the like mind youth for christ appealed to all citizens to always observe all protocols in other to curtail the widespread of the dreaded Coronavirus.
Items distributed includes rice, face masks, seasoning and social distancing was also observed.
Traditional ruler of the area his highness Bala Sale and some elders of the community were all in attendance during the distribution of the palliative.
