FAITH MEANS trust or confidence in someone or something.In one sense,faith in Christianity is often discussed in terms of believing Gods promises,trusting in his faithfulness ho.h relying on Gods character and faithfulness to act.

Living faith is shown by service and obedienhhh uhhhhce to God.The expression"Just have faith it will work out" is used by people to encourage and comfort someone having or facing serious problems or stressful situations.

But what really is faith?Does it really work!?

Faith really does work! There are so many women of faith in the Bible and those outside who can testify to this!I myself testify that faith in God works!like magic.Though it may not be easy!see people like Hannah,Sarah,Abigail,Leah,Deborah,the shunammite woman!the woman with the issue of blood,the widow of zarephat,Elizabeth,Esther,Mary,Martha and mary.

I know you have heard of Sarah!She was Abraham's wife,it was recorded in Hebrews 11:11 " By faith Sarah herself received strength to conceive seed and she bore a child when she was past the age because she judged him faithful who had promised.hallelujah!

What about Ruth,she was a Moabite woman who showed loyalty to her mother in Law Naomi and her God.Her character and faith in God  brought her many blessings including being listed in the genealogy of Jesus Christ (mark 1:5).

Faith" the substance of things hoped for,the evidence of things not seen.Sarah was well beyond the child bearing age,yet she bore Isaac just as God has said.She judge God faithful in what he had promised

The widow of Zarephat!,her son had became very sick and died!Elijah cried to the Lord and the Lord revived the life of the child and the woman said "Now by this I know that you are a man of God and that the words of the Lord in your mouth is truth".(I kings 17:21-24)

Talking on the shunammite woman! who was unable to conceive but through Gods blessing she finally bore a son.when her son was young he had a sudden illness and died!. She laid him down where Elisha slept when he traveled through the area!When Elisha came back he saw the boy lying down on his bed,he shut the door,and prayed and told Gehazi to tell the shunammite woman to come pick her son.

*faith works,faith works,with faith you can move mountains.A woman of faith has a relationship with God.she believes in and understand who God is .He is our father,he wants us to have a close relationship with God.One way to accomplish that is by regular prayer.

*A woman of faith believes in Gods words.Gods word is active and very much alive!and they Give comfort and encouragement.It is important to read and meditate on what God says.They often knew what God had said and believed in his word!.

How do you respond to your fears!?Fear actually hinders you from the life you want to live! Don't let fear steal anything away from you.The word should be your shield and armor.God wants a good life for you.All the women of faith in the Bible were all special!!why?

Whether your name is known or unknown God still sees you. Choose to have faith on Gods word to you today! choose to rely on his words!Expect the impossible! God is able!more than able! Dare to trust God! The testimonies of people around you should encourage you.Keep confessing!

The woman with the issue of blood I believe was tired and worn out,imagine someone who lost blood for twelve( 12 )good years but the bible says and she kept saying to herself*if only I could touch the hem of his garment*She didn't feel like it,but she fought through the crowd.She kept the eight thoughts in her mind!there's nothing more powerful than your faith.When you have faith.when you believe or expect a change,you keep saying to yourself"I know the breakthrough is coming,I know the healing is on the way,I know the right person is in my future,I know that what God started he is going to finish*.Your faith can stop the creator of the universe!Live with expectancy that God is more than your problems!bigger than your oppositions!Don't be discouraged,Do not be passive.Reach out and touch him.Release your faith.

God No Go Shame us

God No Go Shame Us 

(Simply means God would not disappoint us)

I got acquainted with this Slang lately "God no go shame us" and have been using it time and again. One night God brought it up as I prayed and asked me He said "Truth have I ever failed you ?  Have I ever disappointed you?" 

I answered No Lord

Then He asked a second question He said "Truth if truly I've never Failed you why haven't you risen to the height I've set for you? Why haven't you gotten all the promises time affords you get?

Ah!! Then it dawned on me ever so clearly God no dey shame us na we dey shame God.

God is ever faithful we are the ones not faithful.

And although God faithful we rarely see the full extent of His faithfulness because of our unfaithfulness then we settle for the little bits Mercy drops affords us.

Many of us believers are perpetually living in this state.

Luke  12:42 And the Lord said, Who then is that faithful and wise steward, whom his lord shall make ruler over his household, to give them their portion of meat in due season?  

12:43 Blessed is that servant, whom his lord when he cometh shall find so doing.  

12:44 Of a truth I say unto you, that he will make him ruler over all that he hath.  

12:45 But and if that servant say in his heart, My lord delayeth his coming; and shall begin to beat the menservants and maidens, and to eat and drink, and to be drunken;  

12:46 The lord of that servant will come in a day when he looketh not for him, and at an hour when he is not aware, and will cut him in sunder, and will appoint him his portion with the unbelievers.

The above Scripture applies our hearts to the simple Truth that it interest God to make us Great than we are interested in being Great the only problem is faithful Men are lacking, even today He's calling for  faithfuls dare to be one.

Now some might be saying I want to be faithful but I don't know How To Go About It>>>>>

Luke  12:35 Let your loins be girded about, and your lights burning;  

12:36 And ye yourselves like unto men that wait for their lord, when he will return from the wedding; that when he cometh and knocketh, they may open unto him immediately.  

12:37 Blessed are those servants, whom the lord when he cometh shall find watching: verily I say unto you, that he shall gird himself, and make them to sit down to meat, and will come forth and serve them.

They who are found (Watching)Praying are never caught by the web of unfaithfulness.

Praying would ultimately chisel out all the excesses and make you ever more ready for the Masters coming.

Give yourself to prayer lest you fall after the same example of unfaithfulness.

Give yourself to prayer and stop shaming(failing) God.

A blessing Not a Curse

Many of us do not know who we are in Christ

God has embedded so much in us that wherever we go, we carry His presence along with us.

We find ourselves in places,like our place of work and suddenly a matter arises and the whole company is disorganized and we begin to shiver and wonder about,we've forgotten what is in us,we even forget to stand our ground on God's promises over us.

I read of a story of a young lady who said her classmates ganged up against her after their examination saying her refusal to cheat in the exam Hall had affected them and that they might fail the examination since they felt her attitude made the invigilators strict to everyone else. 

Infact she said, they rained curses on her and at some point she was afraid,but God through a friend ministered to her heart using the Bible verse, 

Proverbs 26:2

As the bird by wandering, as the swallow by flying, so the curse causeless shall not come.

She said she held unto these words and at the end she recorded no failure all through her academic journey.

Some of us bear GRACE, MERCY, GOODNESS and many others yet when situations turn around with challenges we wouldn't even remember to confess the blessings that our names represent in us.

Haven't you heard!? Of people who share testimonies saying because of me,all through my stay in that land everything changed for good.

What a blessing!

The name Jesus means saviour of the world. And everywhere He steps into, people were saved. Wherever his name is being mentioned,there's always salvation. He was a blessing!

A name attract blessing.

And so when we find ourselves in situations or places and we realize how things aren't working fine, then we should recall that we ought to be a blessing and not a problem, proclaiming and activating God's promises over us.

For greater is He that is in us than situations, surroundings,earthly protocols for We are blessings.

Our names aren't just for fashion,nor recognition,nor for identity alone,it represents us, therefore we must carry what we represent

We must bear,actualize and live in what we are called.

Remember that it's only clean hands free from sin that can activate these blessings,you cannot involve in the activities of the world and expect to enjoy God's blessings.

PROLONGED DEFICIENCY 2

I spoke of being secured in our identity in Christ

So  what is this

OUR IDENTITY IN CHRIST ?

Tbh there's allot about our identity in Christ like:-

But what I would talk about here is as touching Prolonged Deficiency which the Fact that we are MORE THAN CONQUERORS. 

Romans  8:37 Nay, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him that loved us.

This verse gives me great joy

Popular verse but mostly not fully understood.

Imagine fighting a battle that has already been won for you well that's what many of us believers are doing, instead of acknowledging our victory in Christ and basking in it we choose to keep struggling with no headway. Christ has won already, our battle is not for victory rather it is from Victory following as prescribed by Christ and securing His victory for ourselves. Literally being more than CONQUERORS places us above sin and death. 

Though the enemy roars around us, though temptations come our ability to understand - they're all failed attempts to get us to renounce our identity - will aid us to be calm and find the way God has provided with which we could establish our victory in Christ.,

SOME PRACTICAL TOOLS TO HELP US WITH SIN AND PROLONGED DEFICIENCY

* Flee every appearance of evil. 

1 Thessalonians  5:22 

Abstain from all appearance of evil.

This here requires allot of sincerity. Don't think or calculate first just flee the moment you see something appearing as evil, don't wait to find out just flee for by the you realize it is truly evil the evil would have caught up with you.

* you must take note always when fleeing to flee to God's presence. 

Psalm 91

Many flee from one evil straight into another evil cause they neglect the presence of God, not knowing if only they can find God's presence His shadow covers them offering them safety.

*Obedience (God has something to say)

"Our ability to meticulously follow God's will not only secure us in His Presence but also shield us from sin".

Using Psalm 23 as case study

23:4 Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil: for thou art with me; thy rod and thy staff they comfort me.

Shows us that actually it is by choice we wander into the valley of the shadow of death (thou sometimes subconsciously) and that happens when we stop following in obedience.

The pedestal upon which all I've said stands on is Love.

Love sums it all up The laws and the Prophets. God himself is Love.

- You can only flee enticing appearances of Evil when you Love God and won't want to grieve Him.

- You'll make God's presence your perpetual habitat when you Love Him.

- Jesus said " a token of your Love is seen in your willingness to obey". John 14:5

- You can trust/believe wholeheartedly who you love.

Love. 

Truth is you can actually live above and without the Weight of sin, sickness, satanic oppression not just mere words but that's How we Should Live.

PROLONGED DEFICIENCY 1

Years ago I had this argument with this lady who believes one can't live on this earth without sin.

Many also harbour this notion unfortunately even believers today believe it same, some even go as far as finding Scripture to support their claims.

I once heard someone say "Even the Bible tells us the righteous shall fall seven times" inciting that even the Scriptures gives room for falling which is true but not the whole Truth the complete Truth is - although God gives room for those of us who'll fall to rise again - falling and rising as a constant trend is not God's will for His children, MERCY IS REAL THING SO ALSO IS GOD'S JUSTICE SYSTEM.

In fact let's look into that Scripture

Proverbs 24:16

:for though the righteous fall seven times, they rise again, but the wicked stumble when calamity strikes

Seven is established as the number for perfection, so you may find the righteous fall more times than seven numerically that's because the seven there is not numerical but seven as in perfection, so the righteous would fall untill He reaches that state of being perfect in Christ concerning that area he fell at before and this may take him falling numerically a hundred times or even one time given that his Identity in Christ  overshadows that deficiency.

Ephesians  4:13  

Till we all come in the unity of the faith, and of the knowledge of the Son of God, unto a perfect man, unto the measure of the stature of the fulness of Christ:   

Colossians  1:28  

Whom we preach, warning every man, and teaching every man in all wisdom; that we may present every man perfect in Christ Jesus: Colossians  4:12b  

...that ye may stand perfect and complete in all the will of God.

PROLONGED DEFICIENCY

But many believers cleave to their deficiencies, their weaknesses and make falling and rising a norm, today they're up tomorrow they're down, "Oh I just lied nah everyone lies they say I'll just ask God for forgiveness afterwards, sides the righteous shall fall..." That's wrong!!

What I'm saying is it's not the norm actually that's abnormal you can live above such.

Anytime you find lawlessness rising in your life as a Christian secure yourself in your identity in Christ till you are presented perfect in Christ, else you'll wake up one day and discover you're overrun by lawlessness.

LITTLE FOXES

This topic was inspired by Nathaniel Bassey's Song "Book Of Life".  At the end of the Song, he made mention of "Little Foxes". I had to go and do more findings on what little Foxes are and if they could be found in the Bible, oh Yes! I found it. 

Songs of Solomon 2:15

Take us the foxes, the little foxes, that spoil the vines: for our vines have tender grapes.

What are Foxes? Foxes are little things overlooked that often spoil things of value. The shulamite verbalize her love for king Solomon,she speaks of the need to catch the Foxes that spoil the vines. Foxes represent potential problems that could damage their relationship prior to the marriage.

Foxes creep in unnoticed and destroy our vines.

 They can also be seen in our daily lives in the following ways

Wrong things we think. 

Psalm 51:10

Create in me a clean heart, O God; and renew a right spirit within me.

Wrong things we say. 

Matthew 12:36

But I say unto you, That every idle word that men shall speak, they shall give account thereof in the day of judgment.

Wrong things we do. 

James 4:17

Therefore to him that knoweth to do good, and doeth it not, to him it is sin.

Wrong things we think

Many of us have one way or the other conceive evil in our heart. Take for instance,there are some people that we come across in life and dislike them for no reason or probably because someone said they dislike them too,we conclude and accept such people as evil even without haven gotten to talk or relate with the person.

Also there are times we relax,sit and just imagine ourselves in some immoral act maybe with an opposite sex(crush).  These wrong thoughts of our heart can be foxes.

Wrong things we say

Psalm 19:14

Let the words of my mouth, and the meditation of my heart, be acceptable in thy sight, O Lord, my strength, and my redeemer.

There are words that come out of our mouth that aren't good enough,we jokingly say some,some might be slang,yet they have no meaning nor add good value to our lives. Infact they might be insultive words which we overlook, and they creep in gradually destroying our lives.

Psalm 141:3 Set a watch, O Lord, before my mouth; keep the door of my lips.

Wrong things we do.

Many times we do things when no one sees us,we feel there's nothing bad about it,sometimes people caution us about those things which are wrong but we still feel it's our lives to live. Forgetting our lives ought to be good examples,doing things in a manner such that nothing will be found against us. We ought to live our lives pleasing God. Some of such act may be beating a child even when they are not wrong(seniority), cheating and covering up when one is placed over people younger than us.

Nathaniel Bassey in his song said, little foxes and secret folks will spring surprises on the final day. 

Let's be careful of little foxes that creep in unnoticed,else they spoil our vines

Fruit Of The Spirit

FRUIT OF THE SPIRIT

Galatians  5:22 But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith,  5:23 Meekness, temperance: against such there is no law.

Note the Scripture said the fruit (singular) of the Spirit is Love.

Love is not just a fruit of the Spirit Rather it is the fruit of the Spirit.

Every other fruit is a product of Love.

When the thing called love is in place all other fruits Follow suit.

Matthew  22:37  

Jesus said unto him, Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind.   Matthew  22:39  

And the second is like unto it, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself.

Love for God and Love for our fellow men are what Jesus stated as the two greatest commandments.

You can only love others to the extent in which you love yourself.

And you can only love yourself right when you see yourself through God's eyes.

I was going through some of my WhatsApp message I saw that actually the balance missing is the love of God.

Allot of the excesses we see in the Body of Christ is due to the lack of love.

The love of God I discovered preaches liberty but yet still it is that love that constrains us ensuring that we don't misuse that liberty.

Take for example a young lady now basking in the liberty in Christ and dressing anyhow she likes I can tell the love of God has not fully expressed in her cause if it did she'll CONSIDER THAT THERE ARE WEAK BROTHERS around some even still BATTLING LUST and for their sake refrain from some kinds of dressing.

Here's another example let's take Oga Apostle or Dr Badguy that has the anointing for Hugging ladies should also refrain from it if by any means it makes another believer uncomfortable (provided it doesn't alter your personal devotions to God).

Lemme still drop this for balance sake NEVER LOOSE YOUR VIRTUE OF SINCERITY believe me or not it is one of the things that secures us in God 

There's this scripture that says "flee every appearance of evil"

Be sincere enough to tell yourself the Truth.

You know when the transition occurs from that innocent look to a malicious stare consciously flee from it.

You know when that innocent hug is stirring something flee from it.

You know when legitimate chatting is tilting to the freeky end please flee from it. and lots more

There's always a witness don't ignore Him.

It doesn't have to be outright evil for you to flee I always tell my disciples by the time it is outright evil to you it may be too late, the evil would have caught up with you then, so while it still appears as evil flee don't wait to find out.

Lastly I want to use God and beg us young people.

Love widely, don't segregate while loving don't discriminate just Love.

And concerning romantic Love 😏😏😏

Song of Solomon  3:5  I charge you, O ye daughters(and sons all these Apostles) of Jerusalem(God), by the roes, and by the hinds of the field, that ye stir not up, nor awake my love, till he please(The original word here means till it is It's appointed time).

Pls Don't awaken that kind of Love until it's time.

Lemme draw from the Bank of experience if you venture to awaken Love before it's time twill end in tears I did once and lost the grounds for a relationship that would have been a backbone to my life and ministry.

Very few are privileged to awaken Love(romantic) before it's time and scale through and those few do so by express mercy of God.
